You can't be what you can't see. Role models are so important to us all, but even more so when you are young; discovering your career options and making important choices.

In fact, research shows that students who experience four or more business role model encounters are five times more likely to be in education, employment or training when they leave school.

Founders4Schools (F4S) is a careers education charity, which improves the employment prospects of young people aged 5 - 25. We ensure role model encounters are accessible to all, without barriers, through our free, quick and easy platform which allows educators to arrange inspiring role model encounters to take place in the classroom or virtually. We also organise our own careers inspiration events to provide ready-made role model encounters for young people and educators to attend live, or catch up on on-demand.

What we do is more important now, than ever before. The pandemic has caused devastation to millions of young lives across the UK. School attainment levels have dropped, youth unemployment figures have risen exponentially and socio-economic disadvantage is more apparent than ever. For the past two years, students and educators have repeatedly had their education disrupted, meaning careers guidance has fallen to the wayside.The Futures4Students Careers Jam is just one of the ways in which we are trying to combat this, and support young people into prosperous careers.

Through our services we promote social mobility, reduce gender bias, instill self-belief and provide equal access to quality careers education, leveling the playing field for the young people who need us most.
